I nominate John Adams because instead of exerting the will of the ruler he went to the Congress and respected the rule of law. An important goal Adams’ had was to make sure there was peace between the young United States and revolutionary France. He was ready for war but he didn’t declare war even though he had military support and a Navy fleet of over 30 ships. He did this because he was smart in warfare. John Adams is peacefully and can handle the xyz affair with George Washington bush that is why I would like to nominate John Adams.

I would nominate John Adams for the Nobel Peace Prize because of his contributions to peace in America. Adams had tried to improve the relationship between the United States and France. Though, when it didn’t work, Adams sent a representative to France to engage in talks to try to end the fighting. Eventually they signed a peace treaty. John Adams worked hard to avoid a conflict and maintain peace with France and that is why I nominated him.

John Adams should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize because anyone who can promote peace and help a country throughout war deserves a prize because it is remarkable. John Adams’ hard work, honesty and intelligence got him his respect even by those who opposed him. John Adams not only promoted peace but one of his first goals as President was to improve the relationship between the United States and France. This is a powerful thing because for one man to try and bring two distant countries that are against each other together is heroic.

I think that John Adams should be nominated for the noble prize because all the time that John Adams put into trying to earn peoples trust he was very confident. He also contributed a lot of peace to America such as the time when he sent U.S diplomats to Paris to negotiate an end to the conflict. My point is that even though John Adams appeared suited for presidency, he still showed a lot of support and effort.

John Adams was one of those, who lived peacfully, and tried to keep peace where ever they went. This is one reason why I would nominate John Adams for the noble peace award. Acorrding to the “XYZ Affair”, The French were taking valubales and Attacking America in every way. But when John Adams had became president, he brought the quality of peace within him.

His peace efforts lead to his descion not to declare war on the French. After his descion it stunned the Federalists and John Adams refused to change his mind. Even though the French ships fought in the Carrabiean, John Adams sent a representive to France to engage in talks about ending the fighting. The United States and France finally signed a treaty. As a representative of Congress in Europe, he was a major negotiator of the eventual peace treaty with Great Britain, and chiefly responsible for obtaining important loans from Amsterdam.

This is why John Adams is so imporant in the peace history and definitely deserves a Nobel Peace Award.

For the Nobel Peace Prize I would nominate John Adams. The reasons why is because John Adams has recently begun to shine in the minds of recent historians. Some little known facts such as how he turned down the opportunity to write the Declaration of Independence he felt he was more valuable on the floor of Congress, was the only one of our founding father not to own slaves during his entire life, and probably saved the democracy by avoiding a war with France and keeping peace and finally taking light and granting him his rightful place in history. John Adams’ is also most notable success resides, of course, in that America exists today. During the Continental Congress, Adams campaigned tirelessly for the formation of a free and independent state, composed of the thirteen American colonies. Without Adams vision and desire for the creation of the United States, the colonies might have not declared their independence from Great Britain.

There was a quote which john Adams wrote;

Yesterday the greatest Question was decided, which ever was debated in America, and a greater perhaps, never was or will be decided among Men. A Resolution was passed without one dissenting Colony 'that these united Colonies, are, and of right ought to be free and independent States, and as such, they have, and of Right ought to have full Power to make War, conclude Peace, establish Commerce, and to do all the other Acts and Things, which other States may rightfully do.' You will see in a few days a Declaration setting forth the Causes which have impell'd Us to this mighty Revolution, and the Reasons which will justify it in the Sight of God and Man. A Plan of Confederation will be taken up in a few days."

I thought it was very meaningful quote because it seemed to tell little unit of history. All at once, it all went like a story. During the Revolutionary War he served in France and Holland in diplomatic roles, and helped negotiate the treaty of peace. When Adams became President, the war between the French and British was causing great difficulties for the United States on the high seas and intense partisanship among contending factions within the Nation. His administration focused on France, where the Directory, the ruling group, had refused to receive the American envoy and had suspended commercial relations. Sending a peace mission to France brought the full fury of the Hamiltonians against Adams. Once again the reason why I am nominating John Adams is because he did not appear to look suited for presidency, but he got through to be one of the most important people in our history today. John Adams earned respect from those who had turned away from him and opposed him. Because they seen the hard work, honesty, and intelligence which why they gave the respect. Other reason why I nominated John Adams because his first goal was to improve relationship with France which he achieved and he had accomplished all the goals which he set himself and in this he is a role model for me. To accomplish all goals which I put for myself. This is why I nominated John Adams for the Nobel Peace Prize.

I would nominate John Adams because he didn't exert the will of the ruler, instead, he went to the better side and respected the rule of law. While he was trying to earn peoples trust, he was confident about himself. His goal was to make sure that there was peace between the United States and France. His hard work made people who dispised him, had repect for John Adams. He created a lot of peace toward us and France. We could have had a really big war but because of John Adams, we did not. This is why I nominate John Adams

I would nominate John Adams. I nominare John Adams because he had work hard, and he shows honesty and intelligence. He did a lot of things. Such as, he tried to improved the relationship between the United States and France. Also, he asked the Congress for military support. Without fighting he had a peaceful talk with France. Adams has been trying his best to help stop the war, when the war had started.

I would nominate George Washington
for the Nobel Peace prize because he is a patriotic General that fought in the revolutionary war and
he is the first president of the United States of America. In George's two terms of presidency, he has always been an honest leader. Even though he fought for the British in the French and Indian war, he signed the Declaration of Independence.
Although George Washington didn't go to college, he was not only president of the United States, he was also president of constitutional convention and commander of the continental army.
In addition, he is on the quarter and dollar bill and he is
carved on Mount Rushmore. These
are the reasons why I would nominate George Wasington for the Nobel Peace Prize.

I would definately get my vote to recieve the Nobel Peace Prize. We the United States, just ended a war with Britanto gain our independenceand freedom. Political parties were still fighting for control of decision making of the new country. John Adams was able to mend political parties, convince congress to spend on defence and keep a peace keeping army. The reason a Nobel Peace Prize should be added to his resume is that he went against pressure from his own party, sticking to his reasons, and not putting the United States and Europe in another war. It takes great conviction for a man to believe in whats right and not bowing to outside pressures. This is why John Adams would have my vote for a Nobel Peace Prize.

People who opposed Adams reconized his hard work, honesty, and intelligence. Adams tried very hard to improve the relationship between the United states and France. I would nominate John Adams for the Nobel Peace Prize because he always respected the rule of the law. Adam's tried hard to break the hate between the united states and it's enemy France. Even though he could order an attack at any moment he didn't.He was smart enough to avoid fighting. This is why i nominate John Adams.

I nominate John Adams for the nobel peace prize because he respects the rule of law. When France was about to declare war, John Adams asked for military support. However,he did not want to engage in warfare with France. He only asked for military defense with over 30 ships in a navy fleet because he knows what is at cost.He did not ask congress to declare war, instead he asked for a peace treaty with france.American and French ships fought in the carribean sea, however.Adams then sent a reprasentative to make a peace treaty with France. He stopped our country from a huge war,and that is why I nominate him

I would nominate John Adams for the Nobel Peace Prize because he has done many things to contribute to peace. During his presidency, the relationship between France and America was filled with hate. Adams could have sent troops to France at anytime. Instead, he sought for peace between the two countries. He was smart because if there was anymore fighting, many problems would rise for both countries. Though this is only one contribution to peace, this is why I would nominate John Adams.

I would nominate John Adams because he is peaceful. he had always been trying to improve the war between United States and France. He was thinking of war and had the capability for war but never really fought. He was very outstanding and diferent. He was brave enough to bring two Diferent countries together who were nothing alike. I think a man like this diserves this award.
